Parag Patel: Bootstrapping and the Peace Corps

Bootstrapping lends itself to developing nations where startup capital is scarce. Parag Patel spent two years in a village in Mali, West Africa with the Peace Corps. He applied Bootstrapping principles (though he didn’t know it at the time!) to help the village find the right solution to its critical hunger challenge. In this interview he tells of his experiences, including an emotional return to the village ten years later, where he saw the long term impact of his efforts.

Parag is interviewed by Bijoy Goswami, the founder of the Bootstrap Network.
